My Story card: Mia Blake remembers her first Summer Youth Project in 2013.

Bugsy Malone 2013 Summer Youth Project. When I first auditioned for SYP 2013 (1st one), I literally justed turned 10, and now I'm turning 14 tomorrow. I got through to recalls and got a part. I had a microphone and a couple of lines and I was one of the youngest there. It was the first time I had performed in a proper, well known theatre, and I had to say my lines in front of 2,000 people. I remember I was running the saparilla bar and it all ran out and Fat Sam wanted to find out what happened to me. My part was Pickett and I was tied up and wore a suit. I loved every minute of it and have auditioned successfully for all the SYP shows.
