This was a great time for live music, before the big acts only performed in arenas. I saw Elton John with Ray Cooper, The Police and Wings. Also in 1977/78 queued over night with many others to get Bob Dylan tickets for his London concerts. Those were the days! It is great to have a large theatre on the doorstep which attracts most of the West End shows sooner or later. Also, many performers and shows of various types come here from all around the world, giving us a fantastic range of options over the year.
