My Story Memory: Ursula Nicol remembers taking her daughter to see Swan Lake

1975

Took my 5 year old daughter to see Swan Lake ballet. I was heavily pregnant with my youngest son and really struggled to get up to the 'Gods'. But once the music started my daughter moved herself out onto the middle of the aisle steps and started conducting to the music. She has loved music ever since, never went on far with ballet, but did play the flute really well. Its a wonderful theatre and has such a variety of events. First went to see Rolling Stones in the sixties and am coming to see Shawshank Redemption next week.
