My Story Memory: A memory about how staff look after the audiences in all situations

My mother, daughter and I recently visited the Theatre to see Mamma Mia. We were really looking forward to the show as it was a birthday treat for my Mum. Sadly my mother had a nasty fall in the entrance hall, she was really shaken up and very embarrassed. The staff were amazing! They were very attentive and kind. They gave me an ice pack which ensured that she could watch the performance without too much discomfort. During the interval, there was a shout of "medic, we need a medic!" A lady a few rows behind us had stopped breathing. Once again, the staff were amazing and dealt with the situation swiftly, discreetly and with great humility. An ambulance took the lady to hospital and the show was allowed to continue. Our evening could have been a disaster but despite things going wrong, the staff managed to make our evening a lovely experience. Thank you The Mayflower is a fantastic place. It provides top shows, professional staff and happy memories.
