My Story Memory: Steve Milals remembers seeing his son in a touring company visiting Mayflower Theatre

My son's first professional performance role after graduating from GSA was in The Glenn Miller Story with Tommy Steele. He came to The Mayflower at the start of the UK tour and we came with all of the family. It was great to see him perform on the stage where we had brought him to see many shows as he grew up. Living in Poole it was always a great way to give him a real taste of what he wanted to do. It brings a real feeling of the West End to our doorstep and helped to inspire my son to follow his musical theatre career.
