In 2012 Michael Ockwell became the theatre’s Chief Executive and the theatre underwent a rebrand and reverted back to Mayflower Theatre. The brand evolved to reflect the wide variety of performances being programmed. Michael’s vision for the theatre was to develop new audiences both through programming more family and youth friendly work and also through participation in Community and Education events.
