"Ovation Dining Experience" Story
2017
Paper
When I came to live in Southampton in the 70s, it was the Gaumont - and I mainly visited the theatre to see films, as it was used as a cinema as well. When it became the Mayflower, I found a new reason to visit the theatre as I love musicals. I've now lost count of how many productions I have seen! One of the most quirky was the "Faulty Tours Dining Experience", held in the Ovation Restaurant - great fun, and certainly an "experience"! (I got the false teeth in the soup...)
